 The original "Titan Series" started back in the 80's
sometime in San Francisco. I continued to work on designs and making maquettes when I moved to Costa
Rica. I was also exploring glass
during that 11 year period in Costa Rica as well. When I left Costa Rica and
moved to Panama my son Tyler was born. I then took a 10 year break from
the series and spent time with him growing up. Now after 11 years and back in Florida I am returning to the series with renewed
enthusiasm . The forms are evolving from the original stoic Titans
(those above left, were anticipated in concrete)
to becoming more playful and humanized. Because of this form transition, I am
now calling them " Neo Titans". I am also producing these
pieces in a
size from 4 to 10 inches in height, which I've labeled as "Nano Titans". |
